The statement issued on Saturday evening by the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reads as follows:
بسمالله الرحمن الرحیم
والحمدلله قاصم الجبارین و مبیر الظالمین
To the heroic and steadfast nation of dear Iran;
This morning, the terrorist and aggressive U.S. military, in a barbaric act born of desperation regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, attacked three oil tankers belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran, causing damages.
The combatants of the IRGC Navy, seeking aid from the eternal power of God and with the support and backing of you, the brave people, and in accordance with the illuminating verse of the Holy Quran which states: “So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you” [Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:194], targeted three vessels in unauthorized paths within the Strait of Hormuz and three vessels affiliated with the child-killing United States in other regions.
Following this action, the IRGC Navy, in a decisive warning to all vessels present in the Persian Gulf and near the Strait of Hormuz, declares: Do not be deceived by the terrorist U.S. military and avoid any suspicious movement intended to traverse unauthorized waterways; otherwise, you will be targeted.
