IRGC Navy Issues Stern Warning: “The Consequence of Defiance Is Burning in Flames”
The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a resolute statement declaring the Strait of Hormuz closed to maritime transit and issuing a direct warning to vessels operating in the waterway.
The official IRGC Navy statement reads: “The Strait of Hormuz is closed, and the consequence of non-compliant vessels defying Iranian regulations in the Strait of Hormuz is burning in the flames of trusting the terrorist U.S. military.”
Non-Compliant Supertanker Explodes Following Naval Mine Strike
The warning follows an incident involving a non-compliant supertanker carrying over 2 million barrels of crude oil that attempted to navigate an unauthorized transit route in the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel struck a naval mine, triggering a violent explosion and intense fire onboard.
