Major General Amir Hatami, Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, in a consultative meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while outlining the country’s defense strategies, emphasized the firm stance of the Islamic Republic in defending national rights.
According to the Armed Forces media center, Major General Hatami stated in the meeting: “Over the past four decades, the IRGC has been the steadfast pillar of Iran’s power, security, and deterrence. Today, the front of global arrogance clearly understands that the IRGC is the symbol of national will and the primary obstacle to the realization of their expansionist goals.”
The Army and IRGC Unity: An Iron Shield of National Security
Referring to the unparalleled synergy between the Army and the IRGC, the Army Commander added: “The unbreakable unity between the Army and the IRGC, which has always been emphasized by the leaders of the Revolution, acts like an iron shield protecting the country against seditions and conspiracies. In recent wars and against the pressures of enemies, we have proven that we will not compromise on our national interests.”
Decisive Response to Any Aggression
Addressing the enemies of the Islamic system, Major General Hatami said: “Enemies must change their perspective on the great Iranian nation and know that only the language of respect is effective toward these people. They have clearly seen that the slightest aggression against Iranian territory and interests will be met with a unified, swift, and intelligent response from the fighters of the Army and the IRGC.”
In conclusion, honoring the memory of the high-ranking martyrs of the Army and the IRGC, he emphasized: “Today, the Islamic system, thanks to its resistance against overreach and reliance on indigenous capabilities and faithful human capital, is at the pinnacle of power and pride, and the path of the martyrs will continue with strength.”
