Rejection of CENTCOM Command Claims; Psychological Operation for Exhausted Troops
According to IRNA news agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, senior spokesperson for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, taking a decisive stance on Saturday night, September 19, against the rhetoric of the U.S. military, strongly denied recent claims regarding maritime security.
Referring to the promotional maneuvers of U.S. military officials, he stated: “The projection and false, ridiculous claim by the commander of CENTCOM regarding the escorting of tanker fleets and the transit of one billion barrels of oil over the past two months is miles away from the realities on the water. These kinds of claims, rather than having a factual basis, are considered a failed psychological operation aimed at artificially boosting the morale of the tired, helpless, and exhausted personnel of the terrorist U.S. army in the region.”
Justifying Failures and the Reality of the U.S. Withdrawal from West Asia
The senior spokesperson for the Armed Forces added: “The leaders of the Pentagon are attempting to justify the astronomical financial costs and heavy casualties they have imposed on American taxpayers by weaving these unrealistic narratives; however, such media spin will never be able to conceal or alter the strategic failures and the inevitable process of the aggressive army’s withdrawal from the Persian Gulf region and West Asia.”
Establishing Iran’s Operational Dominance in the International Waterway of Hormuz
Emphasizing the comprehensive defense intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran across the expanse of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, Brigadier General Shekarchi announced: “Contrary to the hollow narrative-building of Western psychological warfare rooms, the undeniable reality is that the initiative in the strategic Strait of Hormuz remains decisively in the powerful hands of the mighty Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and no movement is possible outside Iran’s surveillance umbrella.”
