The Strait of Hormuz Authority has issued an official warning that vessels operated by SinoKor Shipping will face decisive legal action from November 1, after recording the highest number of transit violations over the past three months. All cargo owners and other stakeholders have been urged to take note.

According to military and security media, the Strait of Hormuz Authority issued an important message on X on Tuesday, monitoring developments related to vessel traffic through the country’s strategic southern waterways and delivering a serious warning to parties linked to SinoKor Shipping.
According to the authority’s assessments, vessels belonging to SinoKor Shipping have recorded the highest number of transit violations in the region over the past three months, a situation that warranted a deterrent and legal response.
In its message, the Strait of Hormuz Authority further stated that enforcement and proportionate legal measures have so far been taken against at least seven violating vessels belonging to the company.
Given the continued violations, an explicit warning was issued to all cargo owners, commercial stakeholders, and insurance providers:
“From November 1, all vessels of SinoKor Shipping will face legal action without exception.”
The decision is seen as a step toward reinforcing Iran’s maritime discipline arrangements and safeguarding the full security of the region’s strategic waterways.
